My story so far

As early as I can remember, I've been interested in sports and health. I’ve always tried to fuel my body to its optimum. In 13 years ago, I adopted a plant-based diet for a week to see if I could do it (I love a challenge!) After that week, to my surprise, I felt amazing. I then challenged myself to a month. After that month, I still felt great. I then decided to wean myself off poultry - that had become my only vice as I had removed milk two years prior. I found myself getting interested in learning the health benefits of every food I came into contact with, food combinations of what I needed to eat to get all the vitamins from A-K. You name it, I was determined to learn it.

After around six months of self-learning, I improved physically and mentally health. I enjoyed how much better my body felt after that first week. All the self-development paid off as I started to feel the best I’ve ever felt in my life. I started to put on the weight I had initally lost. I started experimenting in the kitchen and, along the way, developed a love for making tasty foods with whatever I had lying around at home. Using spices predominantly found in India and produce heavily used in Nigerian and Caribbean cuisine, I started to find my feet with food, creating delicious dishes and sharing them across social media.
